Academic Leadership: As a Professor of Business Economics at UCAM, I am dedicated to bridging academic theory with practical application. My teaching and research focus on decision-making, business strategy, and organizational transformation, preparing students to navigate today’s complex business landscape.Global Innovation Advocate: As a member of the World Economic Forum's Digital Leaders Network and a THINC Fellow, I contribute to advancing technology innovation, entrepreneurship, and research collaboration on a global scale.Strategic Leadership: My career includes consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton and executive roles at Telefónica and DuPont, where I led initiatives in corporate strategy, digital transformation, and organizational change to drive growth and innovation.Founder of Startup Europe Week (SEW): I founded SEW, the largest regional entrepreneurship initiative supported by the European Commission, reaching over 8 million entrepreneurs in 300+ cities across 50+ countries. This experience reflects my passion for fostering innovation ecosystems beyond traditional hubs.I hold a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies from UPCT, an MSc. in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School / FGV-EAESP, a BA in Economics from the University of Sao Paulo, and a BA in Business from FGV-EAESP. I am also trilingual in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
